The Peonyjewels Story
Peonyjewels began as a small creative studio founded by Shanyu, a jewelry designer with a passion for vintage aesthetics and handmade quality. Her background in Jewelry Design from the University of Geosciences, combined with her love of natural elements and cultural symbolism, sparked a line of jewelry that’s as meaningful as it is beautiful.
From her early SHANYU Collection to the acclaimed Dunhuang Collection, her work has been featured in exhibitions and recognized for its artistic value, including an official collaboration with the Dunhuang Museum. Each piece reflects her dedication to detail—she often spends weeks carefully selecting the right pearl, bead, or component to complete a design.
